Task

Dentro Joinery gave us the opportunity to scope and build a custom WordPress website for their new brand, Denloc Lockers, which provides quality custom lockers. They were after a cutting edge site, a custom software development solution that none of their competitors were offering, which was a configurator tool so that architects can plan exactly what they wanted for their locker fit-outs.

Outcome
After completing a thorough technical scoping phase as part of our standard web development services and overseeing designs that were provided by one of our partner agencies, Percept Brand Design, we were able to develop a complex WordPress website that maintained a clean and simple UX.

General visitors to the site can view the wide product range of different lockers, locks and additional add-ons and items. However, the real beauty of this custom website is for users who register with the website and can then create their own projects and spaces to visualise their custom locker setup.

User can customise each individual locker within their fit-out including the model, size variation, finish colour, bulk heads, lock types, door hinges, door opening orientation, all internal elements such as hanger rails, vents, powerpoints, usb charges and shelves, and even locker add-ons like benches and shoe storage. After customising their locker group, they can preview the entire group in a 3D model and export the information to use for their design planning and ordering purposes.

Part of our web development solution was to build a complex bulk upload tool to handle the uploading of the tens of thousands of product-data-sets and image assets. The end product being a great website with highly unique and useful functionality for both Denloc and their clients.
