Task

IPWEA, a community-based news publisher, was in search of a new website that could cater to their content publishing needs. Their goal was to create a user-friendly platform with custom features that could be managed by their team on a daily basis. One of our agency partners recommended our web design and development services, and we were excited to take on the project.

Outcome

The brief was straightforward, create a solid and stylish website that would serve as a hub for information and community news for IPWEA’s many members as well as the general public. We understood the time-frame and budget were tight, so part of the solution was to use a pre-designed WordPress theme, which we would then customise to meet IPWEA’s requirements.

IPWEA chose a WordPress news based theme that contained many of the features they were after. We then modified the styling and functionality to suit their business needs, such as aligning the design with their brand and colour palette, integrating an eBook Library, incorporating social media counters, introducing a custom banner ad management tool, creating an upcoming training widget and more.

By taking this hybrid approach to the site development, we were able to deliver the project within the agreed timeframe and allotted development costs. IPWEA was delighted with the final outcome, and the website has since served as a reliable source of information for the community.
