Task
IPWEA needed a new website to support their content publishing operation, serving as an information hub for members and the broader public works community. Referred to Code Brewery by one of our agency partners, they were looking for a user-friendly platform with custom features their team could manage daily — delivered within a tight timeframe and budget.

Outcome
Given the constraints, we recommended a hybrid approach: start with a WordPress theme that already contained many of the features IPWEA needed, then customise it to fit their specific requirements.

The customisations included brand and colour palette alignment, an integrated eBook library, social media counters, a custom banner ad management tool, and an upcoming training widget.

This approach delivered a polished, functional news platform within the agreed timeframe and budget. The site continues to serve as a reliable information source for the IPWEA community.

After a less than positive experience using an offshore development team, getting to work with the team and Code Brewery is a godsend. The team are incredibly skilled and knowledgable, their work is exceptional. But what really stands out is there communication and responsiveness. Not every brief we provide them is perfect.
