Task
After winning a competitive selective tender, ACHIA NSW partnered with Code Brewery to build a website that could serve as the central hub for Aboriginal Community-Controlled Housing Providers across the state. The site needed to be cutting-edge, mobile-first, highly secure, and capable of connecting their members with the resources they need to provide housing opportunities for Aboriginal families and communities throughout NSW.

Outcome
ACHIA NSW now has a visually striking platform that balances sleek, modern design with culturally meaningful elements that resonate with their community. The site serves multiple audiences effectively, from member organisations seeking resources to potential partners exploring collaboration opportunities.

Key capabilities delivered include an interactive map for locating and engaging with ACHPs across NSW, a secure Member Portal with exclusive content and resources, custom membership application workflows, an SME directory connecting members with service providers, and seamless EventBrite integration for event management.

Rather than locking the client into rigid page templates, we built a flexible content block system that gives ACHIA NSW full control over their site’s layout and content. This lean WordPress approach means they can evolve the site as their needs change, without accumulating plugin bloat or theme dependencies.

After a less than positive experience using an offshore development team, getting to work with the team and Code Brewery is a godsend. The team are incredibly skilled and knowledgable, their work is exceptional. But what really stands out is there communication and responsiveness. Not every brief we provide them is perfect.
