ACHIA NSWOrganisation Website and Customer Portal
Task
After winning a competitive selective tender, ACHIA NSW engaged Code Brewery to be their partner in creating a new and fully custom website for their organisation. Key requirements were for the site to be cutting-edge, responsive with a mobile-first design, and highly secure. The website’s primary goal is to engage ACHIA NSW’s target audience with content and resources to enable them to provide housing opportunities to Aboriginal families and communities within NSW.
Outcome
The website’s purpose was to promote ACHIA NSW’s services as a not-for-profit organisation supporting Aboriginal Community-Controlled Housing Providers (ACHPS), including Local Aboriginal Land Councils (LALCs) and other organisations established under law to provide housing opportunities for Aboriginal families and communities.
We commenced the project with an extensive Technical Scoping Phase, unravelling and planning in detail the full scope of requirements of our client. This was followed by creating a modern, responsive and visually appealing design that aligns with the ACHIA NSW brand guidelines and ties into cultural design styles.
In the Build phase, we transformed the sleek designs into a user-friendly front-end, enabling ACHIA NSW members and partners to navigate effortlessly throughout the site. Our approach involved implementing a suite of custom ‘content blocks’ instead of restrictive page templates, granting the Administrator full control over the content and layout of each page and section of the website. By leveraging a lean WordPress back-end, we ensured flexibility for future development without relying on excessive plugins or a site theme.
The ACHIA NSW website boasts a range of exciting features, including an interactive map to locate and engage with ACHPs across the state, custom member application forms, integration with EventBrite to display upcoming and recently past events, a Member Portal that provides member-only content, downloadable resources, SME directory and much more.
We take immense pride in this project which is both beautiful and functional, and are honoured to have worked alongside ACHIA NSW to achieve such outstanding results, of which has made our client very happy.
