Task
After a competitive pitching process, we were chosen as the software developer by the Australasian Society for Bipolar and Depressive Disorders (ASBDD) to undertake custom WordPress development for their organisation. Not only that, but we helped them completely overhaul their brand and digital presence which included; re-branding, a new domain and email set-up, designing and building a new website, and streamlining their membership subscription and payments processes.
Outcome
As part of our custom WordPress development services, we undertook an in-depth technical scoping phase to understand exactly what the ASBDD wanted in their new website. We also undertook a branding exercise to give their dated logo and brand identity a complete makeover and also provide them with a set of Brand Guidelines to maintain a consistent image and message going forward.
After completing the scoping phase, we moved into the website design phase wherein their new brand guidelines were incorporated into a modern, stylish, and responsive WordPress website design. We also assisted them with their copywriting during this phase.
We then proceeded with the WordPress Development Phase, wherein we built a robust website that’s jam-packed with features that run off a WordPress CMS. ASBDD’s new and improved website now contains many great features like; member sign-up functionality that incorporates an e-commerce payment facility, a donation feature, a conference planning section, detailed search functionality, member notifications and more. As experienced customer WordPress website developers, we created numerous content blocks for the site administrators to be able to create new pages (or edit existing ones) with any page layout structure they wanted, rather than being restricted to static website templates.
The outcome was an extremely happy client with a new brand identity and powerful new website that earned them some amazing feedback from their members and customers.
