Australasian Society for Bipolar and Depressive DisordersMember based website
Task
After a competitive tender, we were engaged by the Australasian Society for Bipolar and Depressive Disorders (ASBDD) to help them completely overhaul their brand and digital presence. This included; re-branding, new domain and email set-up, designing and building a new website, and streamlining their membership subscription and payments processes.
Outcome
As it so often does, the process began with an in-depth technical scoping phase to understand exactly what ASBDD wanted in their new website. Simultaneously, we also undertook a branding exercise to give their dated logo a complete overhaul, also providing the client with a set of Brand Guidelines to maintain consistency in their image and messaging going forward.
On completion of this scoping phase, we moved into the website design phase, where we incorporated their new brand guidelines into a modern, stylistic and responsive website design. At this point we also assisted them with copy writing for much of their site.
On completion of the design, we moved into Development where we built a robust and feature packed website, running off a WordPress CMS. As per our standard approach to website development, we avoided the use of numerous plugins or site themes to ensure the website was flexible for future development and easily maintainable. The website contains many great features, such as; member sign-up functionality incorporating e-commerce payment facility, donation facilities, conference planning section, detailed search functionality, member notifications functionality and more. From a back-end perspective, we created numerous content blocks for the site administrators to be able to create new pages (or edit existing ones) using these blocks, rather than being restricted to static templates, reporting tools for their members, and other great features.
The final outcome was a client that was extremely happy with the new brand and website that we’ve created for them, and has had amazing feedback from their members and customers.
