Task
The Ministry of Education of Saudi Arabia, a long-standing client of our partners at Cascade, required a new website integrating Cascade’s proprietary strategy software dashboards. Cascade engaged Code Brewery to scope the technical requirements and build the solution. The site needed to be fully bilingual (Arabic and English) with layout considerations for both cultures, serve external stakeholders, and provide secure access to confidential information across multiple tiers of internal users.
Outcome
The platform features a clean UX that toggles seamlessly between English and Arabic across every section. Since Arabic is read right-to-left, the entire site mirrors completely between languages at every responsive breakpoint.
Security was paramount given the sensitive nature of much of the content. Access to restricted areas requires authentication via SAML Active Directory integration, with multiple user group definitions controlling which sections each user can access. The discussion forum, for example, restricts editing and publishing rights to specific user groups.
Key capabilities include event listings with registration functionality, a media section housing articles, videos, publications and photo galleries, user polls, a forum with commenting and voting, a moderated live Twitter feed, a file repository, and live integration with Cascade’s strategy software.
