Task
Teaming up with The Conscience Organisation, we were tasked to deliver a series of educational games for primary school students to help them learn some basics around Maths and Money.
Outcome
The short series of games needed to cover three different primary school age groups; years 2-3, years 3-4, and years 5-6. Each game needed to educate school students about how to apply principals of mathematics when using money. Each game provided a different experience and, naturally, increased in difficulty as you progressed up the age groups.
The games incorporated a number of different user mechanics, including; drag-and-drop, click to select, number counters and multiple choice. We also needed to ensure that the games worked not only on desktop devices using keyboard and mouse input, but also for mobile and tablet devices that use touch screen input.
The games are fully responsive in order to work across multiple device types and browser layouts, as well as being compiled to run within the Westpac Schools mobile app.
