Task

Teaming up with one of our partner agencies, Percept Brand Design, we were engaged to Scope and Build a highly sophisticated product listing website for Aaxis Pacific that would evolve into an eCommerce portal for corporate buyers and integrate with CRM and ERP systems in the future.

Outcome
To ensure we built a robust website with custom business systems that was capable of capturing all the intricate and detailed information for Aaxis’ range of over a thousand products – with around 50 data fields per product – a lot of time was spent during the Scoping Phase of this project; researching the right software design and development solutions and creating detailed Technical Specs and thorough wireframes. These wireframes were used to guide Percept through the Design Phase.

The custom website took several months to build, which included regular collaboration with the Aaxis marketing team to ensure that no product information or system requirements were missed. The final product is a robust website running on an Umbraco back-end that offers custom features like the ability to create unique products and campaign microsites, multi-levelled user login management with unique access restrictions, batch-upload product management and much more.
