SAVEDCompetition Website
Task
The IUCN World Parks Congress is an event held once every 10 years to inspire, engage and promote the conservation of our parks, our people and our planet. This decade, the event was held in Sydney in November 2014, and to raise awareness, the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Services in partnership with IUCN ran the “SAVED” photography competition.
Outcome
After a competitive pitch, we were engaged to design and build this responsive website which enables entrants to register and submit high quality images into several categories. One of these categories was “Social”, in which participants submitted entries via Instagram #tags that then pulled the images directly into the website gallery. Over 4000 images collected.
Development also included integration with PayPal payment gateway.
We also built a bespoke CMS that gave the admin;
- full control of all front-end elements, with the ability to tag, shortlist and to moderate entries
- send-out eDMs through an email blaster system, create daily payment reports and much more!
